Who doesn’t love a spotty dress, it’s beautiful, I have this in other patterns to, it’s so flattering, and as it’s a wrap dress you can adjust it to your size 🥰

The Peggy Wrap Dress in Red with Polka Dot Spot is a classic stylish 'Seamstress of Bloomsbury' dress with a great sense of fun. I have worn it and washed it many times as I bought it over a year ago. The simple classic style makes the dress very appropriate for casual daywear but the bright polka print makes it also good for celebrations. This is a true wrap dress and so you can tie it to fit your waist neatly, but there are pleats sewn all around the waist so that the dress still feels generous and has plenty of fabric in the skirt. This style does give the effect of a straight skirt rather than a flared one but it is loose and flowing rather than tight . I like to wear a slip under the Peggy dress so that I don’t show too much knee getting in and out of the car, but the slip also helps the fabric to hang nicely and prevents it sticking on your nylons.
Like most dresses of this brand it is made from an authentic semi-synthetic rayon crepe de chine. The fabric is pleasantly light and drapey and feels a bit like silk. It is much nicer than modern synthetics. However, it does take a bit more ironing than some fabrics and needs to be treated with care. Many brands recommend handwashing and line drying but are fine in the machine. This fabric must be hand-washed or dry-cleaned to prevent damage. The red polka print is both classic and vibrant making the dress suitable for many types of occasion.
This dress is a reasonable just below the knee length for me at 5'9". I would like it better if it were a little longer. I am between a size 10 and 12 in most stores. In this brand I always order a 12 and have got a couple of items in 14. I recommend sizing up, particularly if you are tall because the dresses get longer with size increases, but the wrap style is quite flexible and will accommodate some size variation.

The Peggy dress is definitely my favourite out of all the dresses on Rock and Romance. Flattering and easy to wear at any occasion.
