A Classic 1940′s Hollywood Dress with original square jet style buttons and contrasting cream undercollar to set it off.. with its contrasting piping & diagonal buttonholes also sewn in the contrasting cream colour it really is a stunning dress.. The full skirt swings out into a circle and finishes on the knee.
This beautiful item is as good as it gets if you love vintage designs & totally in keeping with Authentic 1940s Style, as it is an exact reproduction of a classic 1940s item. It is made with complete integrity from the finest Rayon Crepe de Chine fabric just like the originals too.. It is nice and light, soft to the touch, hangs beautifully and easy care too... Wash by hand or in a machine on "Delicates" setting at 30 degrees

Another beautifully designed and cut dress by The Seamstress Of Bloomsbury.
An elegant easy to wear dress with the versatility of stepping out as chic day wear or sassy evening attire at many a function.
A fuller and therefore more swishy skirt than the sister Lisa-Mae dress with a few inches less in length but still falling at the sophisticated below the knee level.
The belt is a tie at the waist as you wish notion, however as I also have the Lisa-Mae dress I will be using that belt for both garments for a sleeker less fussy finish.
The stylish square buttons with the contrast stitching and under collar detail gives this frock an instant classy look that oozes elegance and sophistication and ultimate timeless femininity for lovers of vintage fashion and those who just adore great style and a well put together look.

This was the start of my Mae dress obsession, ive had this quite a long time now (aprox 2 years) and I still wear it regularly, its lasted fantastically well. I now have it in all colours.
